It is great and convenient to have a way of sharing clipboard data between Mac/Windows computers and Android/iOS phones, so you can access your clipboard from anywhere. Create a Nginx localhost on your computer.
When you enable PinClipBoard sync service by clicking on the switch button, PinClipBoard will install and start a Nginx service on your computer. Nginx is an open source software for web serving with its HTTP server capabilities. It is 100% clean and virus free. As a local server, Nginx can process without network connected and your data will never be uploaded to the cloud. Why use Nginx? It is clean, green, free and small in size. All devices access to the clipboard data should be in the same WLAN.
Scan the Qr code to access your clipboard data on Android/iOS Mobile Phone.
Once the sync service is enabled, PinClipBoard will generate a Qr Code image and Ip Address which could be both used to access the local clipboard data. Use the Qr scanner apps installed in your smartphone or functionalities provided by Twitter, Facebook or the Camera. Scan the Qr code and you will be redirected to a webpage which lists all your clipboard history data. Alternatively, you can open your browser and enter the Ip directly into the address bar to access the clipboard data.
Now PinClipBoard supports most browsers including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, IE, Opera, and Safari. Click the “Synchronize” button to refresh the page to load the latest data copied into the clipboard on your Windows computer.
Enter the Ip Address to access clipboard data on Win/Mac computers.
Run the browser installed on another computer (no matter it is Mac or Win PC) and enter the Ip address. You can visit the webpage hosted on the local Nginx server and access the clipboard data you have ever copied.
